   Full Research

Our Society is willing to undertake research in relation to Griffith and the surrounding areas.  When requesting information please provide all details to enable a search to be made.  For example - full names, maiden names, children, birth & death dates, addresses etc.

The research rate is $10.00 AUS per hour plus photo copying expenses.

For postal replies please include a stamped self addressed business sized envelope.

Our minimum research fee is $10.00 AUS,  which must be enclosed with the initial inquiry.  The minimum fee covers one hour of research of all resources held in our library including the Riverina Cemeteries CD.

One Person Only Detail Death Record

Price  -  $5.00 AUS for each person

You will receive where available:  Their birth, death, cemetery, section, row & lot, monumental inscription and extra information.  The extra information may be an Obituary, Death Notice, In Memoriam, Return Thanks etc extracted from Griffith's local newspapers (starting from 29 Sept 1929), other local newspapers or supplied by a family member.

Last Name Summary Death Record Print Out

Every mention of a last name in all cemeteries on our cemeteries CD.

Price  -     $5.00 AUS  for 10 or less last name records

               $10.00 AUS  for 11 plus last name records

You will receive only where available:  Last name, first name, born, died, cemetery, section, row & lot  only.

For the price on your 'last name in all cemeteries requested' please post or email your enquiry, marking clearly 'Last Name Summary Look Up'.   For postal replies please include a stamped self addressed business sized envelope.

NB  Monumental inscriptions, Obituary, Death Notice, In Memoriam, Return Thanks etc may be available for some or all of the records in a Last Name Summary Lookup.  If available, cost is $5.00 as shown in the One Person Only Detail Death Record.

   Library Use - NON Member

Use of the Society's Library - $10.00  per session - plus photo copying expenses.

Monthly Meetings held the second Thursday of each month.

Single Membership $40.00 - the annual fee for one person.

Family Membership $60.00 - two persons living at the one address.

Half Year Membership $20.00 Single, $40.00 Family - from 1 July to 31 December.

Membership Renewals are due 1 January each year and payable by 31 January.

Ibis Links - Journal subscription only $20.00

     Published April & October.  Free to members.

The main benefits of membership are:

 •  Access to many resources not available on the internet.

 •  Guidance with research if needed.

 •  Ibis Links Journal - issued 2 times a year.

 •  Link Letter - issued a couple of times a year.

 •  Free submission of “Members Interest” in Ibis Links Journal.

 •  Participation in social activities and excursions.
